A Japanese speaking friend of mine, @azurarok on Twitter, took a look at this post, and had some things to note on the interview. Here’s what he had to say.
“Well the out of time bit I can understand. It’d been amazing using Nitori and her machines though.
Also, he never says UFO’s overall difficulty is easy. Just that Laser Marisa is the easiest to use in it.
Actually, that might just be a quick remark by the interviewer from what it looks like on the article
Also, it seems like this was done through radio and the guy who wrote the stuff out couldn’t tune in some parts.
Like the “ignores ideas outside Japan” bit. Apparenty he’s had an offer from overseas, and was about to talk about it but the radio cut the details off.
The Mokou/Kaguya/Wriggle/Nitori bit, I actually don’t see him explaining why they weren’t put in at all.
He might’ve meant he didn’t have enough time around with Scarlet Weather Rhapsody since he notes Fatty Catfish and Meiling were to be in SWR. Apparently Tenshi actually replaced Catfish.
And that’s really just about what I can get from it. They’re generally drunk, jumping around on different subjects.”
Been slump on updating due to too much nothing going on. So for the sake of posting here’s a horrible thing that’s even more horrible when it gets stuck in your head, which it will.
But so it isn’t entirely in vain, here‘s something good that profited from that video.
About a month old, but it’s the first I’ve seen of it. It makes you wonder what Touhou would be like as a shounen. (bad) Not the best quality, but decent (hurr K-ON) VNs, and pretty entertaining action. Of course, Marisa makes the whole video worth it.
Surprising, right? Thanks to the fine folks at Gensokyo.org, here’s your fully translated UFO goodness incredibly early. Hopefully 12.3 gets translated pretty soon!!
..and it works! But only with Hamachi, until I can manage a forwarded port. For those of you who don’t know, SHOUTcast is an audio stream, that runs through Winamp. I currently have a teststream running, if anyone would like to try it out. Remember, you need Hamachi and Winamp to listen.
