The downloadable Project Diva expansion for the PS3 now has an official title, as well as an official webpage. You know, it may just be me, but I might end up liking her less graphically-enhanced model better. Something about these screens doesn’t fit right with me, but I will buy it and love it anyway so who cares.

You know, I believe Super Smash Bros. played a big part in fighting game history. I was never really into Street Fighter, and was only moderately into Marvel Vs Capcom, but I was able to have tons of casual fun with Smash. Melee rolled around, and that was my first attempt at actually getting “good” at a “fighting game”. Fast forward to IaMP, Brawl, and I’m getting the hang of things, knowingly or not. Then TvC and Blazblue, and I’m at the very least ‘decent’ at the genre.
Basically what I’m saying is, it all started with Smash Brothers. The first “fighting game” I really took an interest in. Granted I don’t even consider Smash a real fighting game series, and don’t regularly play Brawl anymore.. but these things happen, right?
